  This is Aubrey Silver. She was born with a rare disease called "Tuberous Sclerosis". This disease is a
tragedy to the person who has it and to their family. Research is now finding several genes where mutations have taken place causing this terrible disease, but it is
a slow process. This is a progressive deteriorating disease process for which currently there is no cure.
This site has been created as a tribute to the spirit
and resilience of this young woman and her battle with Tuberous Sclerosis and as a resource for others.
Aubrey, like the song she was named for, has touched
people around her with her strength, courage, but most of all her smile which contiues to shine in spite of her ordeal.
